Board Member
Teri Bruns was elected to the WPS Board of Directors in January 2020.
Her career in information technology spans more than 30 years, from systems engineering and technology sales to strategy roles developing cloud-based solutions that enable businesses to aggressively transform. As Vice President of Tanzu Partner Ecosystem at VMware, Bruns leads a global cross-functional team charged with scaling VMware’s technology platforms and leveraging partnerships with global system integrators, solution outsourcers, and independent software partners.
Bruns has also held several Information Technology sales leadership roles with EMC and Symantec, and was president of a national technology solution provider, CoreBTS.
A native of Pennsylvania, Bruns has lived in the Madison area since 1978. She majored in Business at Edgewood College in Madison. Board service includes the American Family Children's Hospital Advisory Board as well as the village of Maple Bluff.
Bruns is a mentor for women in the technology industry and was one of the recipients of In Business magazine’s Women of Industry awards in 2018. She has been recognized on CRN magazine’s Women of the Channel list, which honors women based on their professional accomplishments, demonstrated expertise, and ongoing dedication to the IT channel.
