Nurturing healthier communities lies at the heart of WPS’ purpose. We don’t think of it as “giving back.” We do it because we care. With a strong emphasis on mental health and well-being support for all communities, we work to address key drivers of social and health equity. Through sponsorships, donations, volunteerism, and in-kind support, we strive to break down inequities. As a part of our diversity, equity, and inclusion enterprise strategy, we place an emphasis on underserved and undervalued communities to ensure we are intentionally removing systemic barriers for all to have a high quality of life.
A focus on mental health realizes our company purpose—relentlessly pursuing health solutions and value for those we serve. Our efforts in this area focus on establishing connections that strengthen support for mental health and well-being, with an emphasis on military service members, veterans, and additional underserved and underrepresented communities.
We take part in efforts to promote the wide range of human differences and create an environment that encourages people to be their authentic selves. This may involve working with advocacy-based organizations that serve underserved and underrepresented communities, such as professional networking groups and non-profits.
We support underrepresented business owners to boost innovation and promote growth. One of our focuses is on working with organizations that help diversify our supply chain, drive innovative solutions, healthy competition, and improve performance.
