MADISON, Wis.—May 13, 2020—America’s active-duty military and veteran doctors, nurses, public safety professionals, and others are helping their communities get through the challenging days of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In recognition of their efforts, WPS Health Solutions is announcing the WPS Military Salute Award, with a $1,000 prize to be donated to the winner’s charity of choice that is assisting in the fight against COVID-19. In addition to the charitable donation, the winner will receive $500.
Nominations are being accepted through June 1, 2020. To nominate a service member or veteran, go to the Military Salute page and complete the form along with a nomination statement of 250-500 words.

The winner will be determined by a committee of WPS employees. Submitted statements may be used in social media mentions, on the WPS Military Salute website, and in other marketing materials. Employees of Wisconsin Physicians Service Insurance Corporation (WPS) and its subsidiaries may submit nominations but are not eligible to receive the award.
