MADISON, Wis.—February 18, 2020—WPS demonstrated its support of military veterans by being a premier sponsor of Old Glory Honor Flight's "An Evening to Remember: Keep our Veterans Flying." The fundraising gala was held at Lambeau Field in Green Bay on Feb. 14. The event raised $106,000.
Among the 318 people in attendance were these WPS employees: Tim La Sage (guest, Steffany Coker), Erik Brooks, Jessica Marking, Justin Scholl (guest, Rhonda Scholl), and Rob Palmer (guest, Kim Palmer). Other guests of WPS were Charles Daehling (Marine veteran) and Ken Corry (Air Force veteran).
Old Glory Honor Flight offers free one-day tours to Washington, D.C., for World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War veterans from northeast Wisconsin to see the memorials built in their honor.
