MADISON, Wis.—Oct. 16, 2018—WPS Health Solutions received the “Golden Ax” award at the Madison Area Police and Firefighters Charity Ball on Oct. 13. President and CEO Mike Hamerlik accepted the award at the banquet, which was held at Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center.
WPS was selected for the top award because of the company’s ongoing support for Fire Fighters Local 311 and the Madison Professional Police Officers Association, including the K-Tal Johnson Memorial Golf Outing and the annual Charity Ball.
Proceeds from this year’s event will be donated to Madison’s Domestic Abuse Intervention Services (DAIS).
